Standing at an elevation of 3,650 meters, the Lhasa Everest Base Camp Tour is a premier destination that travelers and trekkers aspire to visit. Our adventure begins with a scenic mountain flight from Kathmandu to Lhasa, offering spectacular aerial views of majestic peaks, including Mount Everest. Upon landing, we explore the historical landmarks, ancient monasteries, and charming old quarters of Lhasa. Key highlights include the renowned Jokhang Temple, Potala Palace, Barkhor Market, and Sera Monastery. Continuing our journey, we drive past the stunning turquoise waters of Yamdrok Tso Lake toward Gyantse, where we visit the famous Gyantse Dzong and Kumbum Monastery. We then proceed to Shigatse to explore the Tashilhunpo Monastery—the official seat of the Panchen Lama—before ascending through high mountain passes exceeding 5,000 meters. Along the way, we visit nomad camps, experience the vast Tibetan Plateau, and conclude the day with a relaxing overnight stay in Tingri.
On the third day, our journey continues via a hike or drive toward Rongbuk, where travelers can spend the day exploring at their own pace. The following day marks a major highlight of the trip as we head toward the Everest Base Camp (EBC) in Tibet. Here, visitors are greeted with breathtaking, close-up views of the world's highest mountains, including Everest, Cho Oyu, Makalu, and Shishapangma. After completing this unforgettable experience, the tour concludes with a return journey to Kathmandu via the Bhotekoshi River route.

Day 03: Flight from Kathmandu to Lhasa
In the morning transfer to airport for the flight from Kathmandu to Lhasa. The flight takes an hour to Lhasa an hour plus (weather permitting). If there is a clear weather it offers a stunning view of the Himalayas, the highest mountains in the world Mount Everest. Lhasa airport Gongkar, from here drive to Lhasa about 60 km. Just before Lhasa visit the Drolma Lhakang monastery in Netang, it is dedicated to the goddess Tara. You stay in a hotel with mostly Tibetan management not far from Barkor. Day 04: Lhasa
This day in the morning visits the Jokhang monastery. It is the holiest site with an interesting legendary, the ritual circuit around the Jokhang and then visit the Ramoche, it is a tantric faculty and walk through the Tibetan market. Overnight Hotel Dood Gu
Day 05: Lhasa
The day, it is the main dreamful of your lifetime (it can be). In the morning visit the Potala palace Dralha Lhupuk around, the legendary residence of the Dalai Lama, the palace has approximately 1000 rooms Overnight Hotel Dood Gu
Day 06: Lhasa
Drive to Drag Yerba valley and evening back to Lhasa, overnight Hotel Dood Gu
Day 07: Drive to Yamdrok Lake - Gyantse
You are going to leave the Lhasa this morning, driving distance is about 270 km. After crossing the Tsangpo on beautiful route climb to the pass of the Khampa La (4794m) and panoramic view back to the Tsangpo and advance to Yamdrok Lake. On the way visit the Samding monastery, it is dedicated a female incarnation. The route follows the shores of Yamdrok long, windy over the Karo La (5010m) and the Zhimi La (4370m) to Gyantse (4070m). overnight Hotel, Gyantse
Day 08: Drive to Gyantse - Shigatse
This morning visit one of the oldest Ghökang (Chamber of protective deities ) and the monastery Pälkhor Chode with art treasures. Visit the unique Kumbum, a walk around stupa in the form of a multi-story mandala with 85 chambers with numerous sculptures in each chamber and a total of 27 ' 000 pictures of Buddhist deities. And drive to Shigatse approximately two hours. Visit Tashi Lumpo, the "mountain of happiness," the huge monastery of the Panchen Lama, one of the few that remained intact, in Shigatse, overnight Hotel
Day 09: Shigatse - Sakya – Rongbuk
Today, going to the foot of the world highest peak via Tingri It is well known as Mount Everest 5200m and Tibetan called Chomolungma. Jeep drives you to Rongbuk 5000m from where you have to hike about 2 hours to reach to Eve rest base camp & come back to Rongbuk. Overnight Hotel
Day 10: Rongbuk - Mt Everest Basecamp – Zhangmu
Today we leave Tibet plateau by passing the high passes Lalung La 5030m & Thong la 5153m. It gives you spectacular Himalayas of Tibet & Nepal. After those passes, it brings you greenery scenery and easy to taking a breath. From Nyalam, drives between big hills and follow the Bhote Koshi, its scenic scenery along the way. This evening better to make programmed to tipping to the crew of Tibetan. Overnight Hotel on full board.
Day 11: Zhangmu – Kathmandu
Drive about 20 minutes down to Friendship Bridge and complete the necessary customs formalities and Crossing the border into Nepal. In Nepal side will be waiting for our border representative with transport for Kathmandu, it takes about four to five hours, depends on the road condition.
Day 12: Departure
We transfer to airport and the service is finished
