Langtang valley trek - Langtang is situated one of the close to the Tibetan borders & remote valley enclosed by snow-capped mountains. Langtang Valley Trek is close to Kathmandu. It lies north of the Kathmandu valley.  This culminates in the peak of Langtang Lirung (7246m).

The religious of Tamang people closely resemble those of the people of Tibet inhabits the area. This area offers easy access to an interesting, scenic area rich with Sherpa culture, monasteries and a variety of fascinating sights.  A spectacular region of mountain peaks, deep valley's Tumbling waterfalls, and sacred lakes.

Langtang village has been completely washed by a massive avalanche by the earthquake on 25 April 2015 at 12:56 pm with 7.8 magnitudes. The village including 176 Langtang residents, 80 foreigners, and 10 army personnel were deaths and more than 100 bodies were never founded.
