We have been trying to keep contact with our valued customers (trekkers) through email or whatever the social network sites who trekked with us. We again wish all of you (even missing on privately to contact) are well and are staying safe.

The COVID-19 pandemic has changed all kinds of businesses and industries.  The travel and tourism industry is one of the most affected worldwide industries.  Nepal government had announced the year of 2020 as visit Nepal 2020 which is destroyed and converted as a black year.  The spring season is the second-highest touristy season of Nepal which loosed and suppliers are going to empty soon, hope not to zero.  All employees are losing jobs and the season, especially in tourism. We hope good bookings and higher numbers of tourists visit Nepal after destroyed the pandemic coronavirus by us humans.  We hope that also the situation will become better soon and recover everything and back to normal life soon. 

How to get relief in the travel and tourism industry in Nepal? 

There was a kind of fighting with the government of Nepal and tourism authorities regarding the taxes. It is not an easy situation for anyone but that trying to cut corners their losses.  It is for sure that the government should take some charges over the travel and tourism industry which has been taking so far. This is also true the tax of too high according to the level of facilities which includes in Nepal tourism.  So, we hope the government makes some decisions and brings changes in taxes. It is one of the points to work on favorable which helps the industries. There is a chance to increasing package costs to travelers which does not solve the problems. But the government of Nepal should be alert with Hotels and restaurant costs as well as suppliers. That is why taxation will become a part of the headline and important point to help with that after recovery of COVID19.

We all travel and tourism industry authorities collapsed the spring season business as mentioned in the above lines.  As we are a small company, looking forward to what to do next which brings an opportunity to improve the situation business.
