This Kali Gandaki corridor would be recommended to be driven by the experienced driver. Sometimes the road is diverse into the river and streams through the hills. There is an impressive waterfall, known as Rupse Chahara 9Rupse waterfall). Nearby the Rupse waterfall, the world deepest gorge and it is situated between the two highest mountains of Dhaulagiri (8167m) south and Annapurna (8091m) north. Sometimes, you need to wait for a while delays due to removing some landslides under the Beni to Jomsom road. Jomsom is not far from Marpha. Jomsom is the headquarter of the Mustang district. It is connected by regular flights from Pokhara by some domestic airlines. It is about an hour's excitement drive to Muktinath from Jomsom via Kagbeni. It is strongly windblown in the afternoon and also sometimes starts from early morning. That is the reason sometimes flights get canceled. You can see interestingly there colorful cultivated in such a dry sand land. Kagbeni is a gateway to Upper Mustang. Mustang is an interesting historical place and Tibetan Buddhist tradition land with many and huge monasteries. Finally about 23 km with back topped road brings you Ranipauwa (Muktinath) through a scenic village of Jharkot. While you enter this village and start to feel that you are in the salvation journey.
