All families sons and Daughters (mostly) feeds different kinds of foods and sweets to mother. Who does not have a mother or has been pass away, those visit temples and worship some sweet and flowers on the name of Mother. In Kathmandu, there is a place called Mata Tirtha (nearby Thankot), where to be used to visit that time most of the people whose mother had died.

Buddha Jayanti is the most important day for both Buddhist and Hindu in Nepal. It is the day of Buddha's Birth, Enlightenment, and Death. The Day celebrates with lighting in the temples of Buddha-like in Lumbini, Nepal where Buddha was born as well as every town of the country celebrates it. It lies sometimes end of April or in May also. 

Bisket Jatra celebrates, especially in Bhaktapur. It is an ancient festival on god Bhairab and goddess Bhadrakali. Legendary, it has been celebrating after the death of the serpent. At the time of this festival, thousands of people attend this celebration.
